Refund Policy — RefundShield AI
1. Overview
RefundShield AI is a subscription software product that helps digital sellers, e-commerce founders, and small businesses analyze and improve their own refund policies. Subscriptions are billed monthly and grant a fixed number of policy scan credits per billing cycle.
2. Subscription billing
Our monthly plans are: Starter ($4.99/month, 10 scans), Growth ($14.99/month, 50 scans), and Pro ($29.99/month, 150 scans). You are charged on the day you subscribe and on the same day each subsequent month until you cancel.
3. Eligibility for a refund
Because scan credits are consumed on use, we offer the following refund window:
- If you have not used any scan credits from the current billing cycle, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the most recent charge.
- If you have used some but not all credits, we offer a pro-rated refund within the same 7-day window, calculated as: (unused credits ÷ total credits) × the most recent monthly charge.
- After the 7-day window or after all credits have been used, charges are non-refundable. You can cancel future renewals at any time.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription from your account at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund the current cycle (see Section 3 for refund eligibility).
5. How to request a refund
Email cogitansai@gmail.com from the email address used at checkout. Include the order ID (visible in your Polar receipt) and a brief note. We aim to process eligible refunds within 3 to 5 business days via the original payment method.
6. Defective or unavailable service
If RefundShield AI is unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours during your paid cycle, you may request a refund or a credit extension regardless of usage. Reach us at the support email above.
7. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — most disputes are resolved within one business day. Initiating a chargeback before contacting support may result in your account being suspended until the dispute is resolved.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this refund policy. Material changes will be announced via email and on this page. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
